FOLEY SOUND SERVICES
To us, Foley embodies the essence of authenticity, creating a connection between audiences and characters. The purpose of Foley sound services is to enrich the narrative by adding details that captivate the audience’s senses. We accomplish this through the performance phase on our Foley stage or on location.
Our skilled Foley team meticulously creates the sounds of props, footsteps, and clothing movements, utilizing specific materials to achieve the desired effect. No effort is spared. We are committed to tailoring these sounds precisely for your storyline, whether that story lives in your film, TV series, video game, or podcast. Our goal is to create an immersive journey for your audience.
STEPS

With our clients, the first step in our Foley process is to have a conversation about story, concept, and what Foley can bring to the project within your budget. We’ll even talk about where you don’t want Foley. From there, the Foley cueing process begins. Precision in cueing each footstep, prop and cloth textures. Once the project is cued, our Foley Artist compiles the essential sound elements for a seamless session.
The Foley recording is where the magic happens. During the recording process, our team records an array of sounds for footsteps, props, cloth and any textural details that will assist sound designers. We have a variety of microphones to choose from to capture sound with the utmost precision. Our assortment of props and surface pits adds depth to the soundscape we fabricate and our purpose-built Foley stage allows us to capture the highest quality of sound effects in a quiet space.
The journey continues once recordings are delivered to our Sound Editor. During the edit phase, our skilled Sound Editor meticulously refines the recorded audio clips. They sync each texture and fine-tune levels to harmonize with the production. Once editing is complete, we deliver Foley to the final mix stage. Should additions or clarity be needed, our team is around the corner to provide solutions. We have worked with Sound Supervisors, Supervising Sound Editors, Sound Designers and Re-Recording Mixers, both at Noisefloor and outside of Noisefloor too.
If you are curious about hiring us, reach out to hello@noise-floor.com to talk about your project needs.

The full kitchen with sink gives us water access plus the ability to record cabinets and drawers. Our mic cabinet has a variety of microphones from condenser to dynamic microphones.
