Carly Glenn is a singer/songwriter and filmmaker who has worked in production for almost 3 years. After graduating with a BFA in musical theatre from The Hartt School in 2015, she moved out to Chicago from New York to pursue comedy, film and musical theatre. Now, almost 6 years later, Carly has graduated from The Second City’s Conservatory and The Harold Ramis Film School and taken classes at The Annoyance, Improv Olympic and The Artistic Home. During her studies at these institutions, Carly was also able to work under contracts in different musicals, her favorite being Almost Heaven: Songs Of John Denver, which was performed at Timberlake Playhouse. During her studies and performances, she also continued with her filmmaking and writing which are now award winning films. Her favorites include Bark Mitzvah, Booked It and Rebound Richard. Now, she has taken her story telling skills and her singing chops to become a singer/songwriter, incorporating her filmmaking skills to create conceptual music videos. Going down all of these creative paths, Carly struggled to find structure, so she found stability in production part time. To get the advertising industry vernacular under her belt, she interned at Quriosity Productions and once she was ready, was hired as an associate at Beeline Reps. This is Carly’s first full time job in production, and being at NoiseFloor couldn’t be more perfect as it combines all of her skills: music, filmmaking, marketing and wearing multiple hats!
